Let me tell ya bout this nigga named Courtney Peace.
A fly young cat jeans kept a crease.
He kept a lot of hoes when he walked the halls.
Intelligent young kid wasn't dumb at all.
He was a fool with the ball, had handles like A.I.

Then he started make money outside the school.

He walked pass the gym and said "Fuck the squad!"
He played that role but it tore him up inside.
Then he hooked up with some young dudes.
Some money hungry niggaz all about MAKIN MOVES.
Young head bustas. Straight jackas.
10th grade and already some pistol packas.
Then one day they came to him with a quick lick.
"Hey cash this check then we gone split it".
COurtney was smart so he hired a fiend,
to go in and cash the check and get away real clean.
THefiend goes in but its takin too long.
Now Courtney gettin a feelin that something goin wrong.
He shoulda left but he hung around.
Next thang you know two laws done swung around.
He put the car in reverse but now its too late.
They got Courney boxed in and they runnin his plates.
They came to the window and said "DONT MOVE!!!
YOU CAN GO TO JAIL OR DIE..PUNK YOU CHOOSE!!"
That aint all guess what else they said man.
"This check you got...it belong to a DEAD MAN".
Now they sayin "You must be the MURDERER.
Courtney pleading his case..I never heard of em.
NO NEED TO FUSS, SIR YOU COMIN WITH US.
Two months later he on a long white bus,
Going to the pen, gotta do bout 10.
Barely outta high school nw he livin with men.
No college parties..and no college hoes.
Just metal bars and cold solid floors.
Thats eight years ago I heard he really changed.
Put on 80 pounds and tatted up his whole frame.
And still got game, but now he playin the post.
Him and the female guard they gettin real close.
